My name is Anna and I love food, as you can see from the picture of me above! I recently started an instagram account and have really enjoyed collecting my food images. I have been thinking about starting a food blog for a while but was a little daunted by it all. I finally realised that I can think of it like an online recipe book; a space to collect and share things that I make and try.

I don’t think my food blog will be big or fancy but itΒ will be everyday recipes with a few experimental dishes thrown in for luck. I want to share beautiful images of food as art, recipes and quick stories about my foodie encounters.

I guess I mainly make savoury food and main meals, I use a lot of Italian classics and ingredients. However I also love to decorate cakes, making fondant flowers and sculpturing edible figures.

Currently, I am definitely a cook that doesn’t follow a recipe; I like to make my own up, however I always forget to write them down. My blog, I think, is going to help me build ‘my recipe book’, encouraging me to develop and perfect recipes in order to then write them down so I can go back to them again and again.

Right, I need to get recipe testing…and writing πŸ˜€
