It’s a new chapter!

So it’s the start of a new chapter as I am 2 months into being a new Mummy and the baby weight needs tackling. I hate dieting and love food, so how am I going to do this???

My first tactic is to go low carb, this is my go to approach to weight loss as it has worked in the past. Don’t get me wrong, I love my carbs; beautiful creamy pasta dishes, fragrant and spicy rice, and of course bread, crusty bread with butter, hot toast with butter, baguette with garlic butter! However, an initial purge of these wonderful things can really help to get things moving, but I don’t want to eat bland boring food, so what do I do?

Now I’m not talking about the Atkin’s or keto diets here, I’m defiantly not that dedicated, or could stomach cauliflower rice, or even worse, cauliflower pizza!!! No, I am not excluding all carb’s I am certainty keeping the ‘good’ carb’s, to help me do this I have decided to plan, plan my week’s menu and plan what I feel are ‘good’ and ‘not so good’ carb’s.

So here is my weekly menu planner to get me started, lets see how I get on!
